Parking on Campus
General Permits
If you intend to drive to campus on a regular basis it is recommended you purchase a parking permit. Parking permits are required to park in most lots between the hours of midnight and 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday
Staff Parking
Staff members can obtain a parking permit from Humber’s Parking & Transportation department. Payment for parking will be deducted through payroll.

University of Guelph-Humber and Humber Polytechnic Virtual ONECard
ONECard is a smartphone application that will be used by students, instructors and staff as their digital identification, digital key and digital wallet solution for campus-wide services. It’s free, easy to use and secure. Visit the ONECard website to learn more about it.
Staff Parking at the University of Guelph
The University of Guelph-Humber has a reciprocal parking arrangement with the University of Guelph. If you have business at the University of Guelph and have a current full-time Humber parking pass, there is a designated area in which you may park.

Instructor Parking
If you are an instructor wishing to purchase a parking pass and you are:
- Hired through Humber Polytechnic, you must visit the MyHumber webpage here and log in using your Humber Central Login ID and password
- Hired through the University of Guelph, you must first complete a Parking Profile Request Form, which you can get from your Program Support Coordinator, and submit the completed form back to the Program Support Coordinator in order to receive login instructions via e-mail
If you are a returning instructor hired through the University of Guelph, and you were provided with a login ID and password in a previous semester, you may use this to log in here, to pay for your parking pass. If you cannot remember your login information, please see your Program Support Coordinator.
A permit will be issued to you, upon visiting the Parking Information Kiosk in lot 7. The permit must be hung from the rear view mirror, facing forward.
The cost of a parking pass depends on your course load, for more information please contact your Program Support Coordinator.
Parking for part-time instructors is only valid in lot 4 through gated card-access, as specified on the parking permit. Permits are valid only for one (1) semester at a time.
Reciprocal Parking Agreement with the University of Guelph
Instructors with existing University of Guelph permits may use the permit to park in lot 4 and do not need to acquire a Humber parking pass. Please contact your Program Support Coordinator to have your access card activated for the gates.
Please note:
- Permits are required for parking on campus Monday to Friday.
- If driving only occasionally, Pay-on-Exit lots 5, 6, 8, 10, & Garage are available at North Campus at a rate of $10.00 for longer than four (4) hours or $7.00 for two (2) to four (4) hours, and $4.00 for two (2) hours or less. There is no charge for parking on the weekend.
- A part-time instructor is defined as one who is teaching in class 13 hours or less per week, including any hours spent teaching at Humber.

Guest Parking
Guests to the University of Guelph-Humber who are visiting on business must contact the staff or faculty member they are meeting with to arrange for visitor parking. Staff and faculty who are expecting visitors can email parking@humber.ca or complete the guest parking online form.
Motorcycle Parking Permits
Motorcycle parking is restricted to designated areas. If you normally drive an automobile and only ride a motorcycle on occasion, a special parking clip for your bike can be requested at no extra charge. Motorcycle permits can also be purchased on a semester basis for $88 for staff and students who don’t have a regular parking permit.
Parking for Students with Disabilities
Accessible parking spaces are available for staff and students with a valid Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Disabled Person Parking Permit and a valid University of Guelph-Humber parking permit. Individuals with a valid parking permit who have a temporary health or disability, may apply for a special Medical Parking Permit. A doctor’s medical certificate is required. The special permit is non-renewable and is valid for a maximum of 2 months. Medical Permit Holders must park in designated “MEDICAL” spaces and are not permitted to park in MTO Accessible parking spaces.
Parking Regulations and Municipal Bylaws are enforced 24 hours a day. It is the sole responsibility of the person parking to ensure that their vehicle is parked in accordance with the rules, and only in the lot authorized by the permit.
