TORONTO, Ontario, 03/21/2025 – The University of Guelph-Humber is pleased to announce that it will be the host of the prestigious 2026 NIBS Worldwide Case Competition in Toronto, which is one of the longest-running major international case competitions. This is the first time Guelph-Humber will serve as the host school, a testament to the institution’s rise in prominence in case competitions and on the international stage.
Marking the competition’s 30th edition, Guelph-Humber will welcome students from universities across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia on its campus from February 16-21, 2026, to unite, network, foster cultural exchange, and engage in case study challenges over the course of the week. The competition is beneficial to students for sharpening their analytical and public speaking skills, which will bolster their education as they enter the professional world.
The privilege of hosting the 2026 NIBS Worldwide Case Competition is rooted in the University’s history and expanded participation in case competitions as a cornerstone of its Business program experience. Guelph-Humber students have competed in NIBS Worldwide Case Competitions for over a decade and have had the honour of winning two times (in 2019 and 2022).
The University of Guelph-Humber looks forward to hosting the 2026 event and welcoming the international academic community to Toronto.
