On October 1st and 2nd, thousands of students will be heading into downtown Toronto for the Ontario Universities’ Fair (OUF). All 23 of Ontario’s universities will be there, and it’s the perfect place to learn what it’s like to be a student at the University of Guelph-Humber. Come visit us to find out more about our programs. Here are the top reasons the OUF is worth checking out.
- Speak to current Guelph-Humber students: To find out what it’s like to be a student at Guelph-Humber, you need to talk to a current student. Each day, we’ll have many students at the OUF who can tell you all about life at the university.
- OUF Pass: If you register to attend, you’ll get a custom barcode that you can scan at every booth you visit. It’ll help you keep track of who you see and get more information from the universities that stand out.
- Get to know Guelph-Humber’s employees and program heads: Guelph-Humber is a small school, one where your professors will get to know your name. If you visit our booth, you’ll get a chance to meet some of the people who might be teaching your classes or supporting your experience on campus.
- Meet your future classmates: Over the weekend, more than 120,000 students, supporters and teachers visit the OUF. You might even meet some of your future classmates.
- Win amazing back to school gear: If you visit the Guelph-Humber booth and scan your OUF pass, you’re eligible for one of our prize draws. Each day of the fair we’re giving away one Apple gift card to a lucky winner.
- Learn the ins and outs of our programs: If you want to find out why our Psychology program stands out or how our Kinesiology program will put you on the track to your dream job, the OUF is the place to learn all about it.
- Check out Toronto while you’re here: The OUF is held right in Toronto’s downtown, so after you’ve learned about our programs, go see everything the city has to offer. If you study at Guelph-Humber, Toronto will be at your doorstep. It’s a great opportunity to get familiar with the city.
- It’s two days long: You’ve got the whole weekend to learn what Guelph-Humber has to offer.
- It doesn’t cost a thing: Admission to the OUF is free, so feel free to drop by and learn what we’re all about.
