Across the Bridge
Everyone's journey to success looks different because it is different. Our partners across the bridge at Humber Polytechnic offer tools, resources, and opportunities to help you grow and succeed.
Academics
There are many resources to help you on your academic journey.
Library – The Library can be found on the 3rd floor of the Learning Resource Commons (LRC). UofGH Library Services are also housed here, so it really is a one-stop shop!
Peer Assisted Learning Support – Up to 3 hours/week of free tutoring is available to students! PALS also has note-taking services, learning skills workshops, and more.
Writing Centre – Students can book one-on-one appointments for help with research papers, grammar & punctuation, citations, and more.
Math Centre – The Math Centre offers drop-in hours throughout the semester as well as one-on-one appointments.
Accounting Centre – Available to all UofGH students in the Business program.
Health and Wellness
Taking care of your physical well-being is important to your success. For more Wellness resources, check out the Wellness section.
Athletics – Humber Athletics offers the opportunity to play on varsity sports teams, plus taking part in intramurals and extramurals. There’s a dance room, drop-in activities, and excellent fitness facilities for all your workout needs.
Fitness classes – Humber offers a variety of group fitness classes to keep you motivated, energized, and healthy throughout the school year. Each semester, a new schedule is posted with the times and location of the classes. There are also virtual fitness classes that you can join from your home!
Personal training – One perk of being a UofGH student? You can take advantage of personal training at a discount. All staff are certified Fitness and Wellness professionals. They even offer nutritional consultations.
Food on Campus
The UofGH building has the GH Café. Other food options on campus are located across the Humber North campus. Check out a list of dining locations on campus. We also now have the Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation (CTI) building, which contains The Spot, a delicious organic plant-focused eatery right across from the GH building!
The Humber Room is another great place for dining. It’s a full-service restaurant where all meals are prepared by Humber students studying in a culinary program, and service is provided by students in the Hospitality and Event Management programs. Learn more about the Humber Room.
IT Services
In addition to the University’s Academic & Campus Technology Services (ACTS), Humber IT Services offers tech support to all students. You’ll visit Humber ITS when you want to obtain your Humber number, reset your Humber password, purchase additional print and copy credits, rent equipment such as laptops, and more.
Safety & Security
As part of security on campus, the Humber Guardian app was created for students to easily navigate and locate security resources such as a one-touch call to Humber Public Safety, access to the Safe Walk program, emergency services, and more.

Equity Centres & Getting Involved
We have a variety of hubs aligned with various identities, in partnership with Humber Polytechnic:
The Black Student Support and Engagement program seeks to provide identifying students with community, resources, and support to help fully maximize their campus experience
Indigenous Education and Engagement works to build a sense of community by connecting people through Indigenous perspectives and identity
The LGBTQ+ Resource Centre works to promote safer, positive spaces and offers a dedicated space to connect, access resources, and build community
The Spirituality and Wellness Centre provides spiritual and religious supports, and a multi-faith prayer room
