National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC)
The National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC) is the 'banker' for your OSAP loans. Once OSAP authorizes your funding, the NSLSC disburses the funds. You will make payments to the NSLSC once you cease to be a full time student.
For complete information about your loans, please go to the NSLSC website. You can set up an account with the NSLSC and track your loans.
Registering your Account
Once you have been assessed by OSAP and approved for funding, the NSLSC will send you a welcome email within two to three business days (to the email address that you provided on your OSAP account). Follow the link in the email to start the registration process. If you receive the email and would like to verify its authenticity, please contact the NSLSC.

You will be charged interest on the Ontario portion of your loan during your 6-month grace period. This interest will be added to your loan balance (“loan principal”). For more information on how to pay back your OSAP, please visit the Paying Back Your OSAP page.
Repayment Assistance Program
If you are having trouble making your monthly payments, you can apply for repayment assistance. You can apply to lower your monthly loan payments for six months at a time through the Repayment Assistance Plan. Please contact the NSLSC to discuss your options.
