International Baccalaureate & Advanced Placement Requirements
International Baccalaureate (IB)
Ontario high school applicant admission
- Your course scores will automatically be converted into Ontario U- and M-level equivalents (three Higher Level and three Standard Level that include the specific subject requirements for the program to which you are applying to), or equivalents based on your province/territory.
- IB scores will be converted into percentage grades by your high school.
- Admission and scholarships will be determined using the conversions as submitted.
- Any Higher Level or Standard Level mathematics course is acceptable for programs that require math.
International high school applicant admission
- You should present a minimum academic score of 24.
- You should complete the diploma with six subjects: three Higher Level and three Standard Level that include the specific subject requirements for the program to which you are applying to.
- Any Higher Level or Standard Level mathematics course is an acceptable prerequisite for programs that require math.
- You should ensure that your predicted scores are submitted using the seven-point scale.
Transfer credit for all IB applicants
Upon receipt of official final results from IBO, we will assign specific transfer credits, where applicable, to a maximum of 2.0 credits for grades of 5 or better on Higher Level courses where you have been awarded the IB Diploma or DP Course.
Reported bonus points will be taken into consideration.

Advanced Placement (AP)
Advanced Placement exam results of four or more may qualify for university credit to a maximum of 2.0 credits (four courses). Official transcripts are required.
Document Submission
Please request the IBO or AP board to electronically send your results to admissions@guelphhumber.ca, University of Guelph-Humber. Documents submitted in support of an application become the property of the University and will not be returned. Documents are protected under provincial privacy legislation.
