In the wake of recent events in Paris, Beirut and other cities around the world, the University of Guelph-Humber community wants to express its sympathy to anyone who has been affected.

“This is a shocking and frightening time for everyone, in particular those members of our community who have friends or family in the regions affected,” says Vice-Provost John Walsh. “Our thoughts are with you, and I want to strongly encourage anyone who feels they may need it to seek out the supports available to them.”

The University reminds students and employees that the following services are available:

The Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre, which provides confidential, free, professional mental health counselling to University of Guelph-Humber students at 416-675-5090 or www.humber.ca/student-life/swac/health-counselling/counselling
