On November 12, University of Guelph-Humber Business students came away with 8 medals at the York University DECA Invitational. Of those 8 medals, 6 were first place finishes.
The DECA Invitational featured both individual and group case competitions testing student’s presentation and analytical skills in addressing business challenges. Students competed in numerous areas of business, including finance, accounting, marketing, and human resources management. Approximately 150 delegates participated in the York University DECA Invitational. Besides the University of Guelph-Humber, students came from the University of Waterloo, Ryerson, University of Toronto Scarborough, University of Ottawa, and McMaster.

Nina Erceg- Gogic and Amanda Pleasance - First Place, Sports and Entertainment Marketing
Amandeep Singh - First Place, Business Finance
Dally Uong and Dilshan Jayasinghe- First Place, Accounting
Azeem Uddin - Second Place, Business Finance
Ian Olson and Joshua Mohammed - Second Place, Sports and Entertainment Marketing
With this collection of awards, the University of Guelph-Humber Business program has 9 top three finishes thus far for the 2016/2017 school year.
