Meet your professors

Tom McKaig

“My passion is bringing my world to my students.”

For international business expert and UofGH Prof. Tom McKaig, this means his entire world – from his more than 30 years of experience (outnumbered only by the number of countries he’s worked in) to his go get ’em attitude.

“I bring to class consulting reports I've done as advisor to the Peruvian Ministry of Energy & Mines or as consultant to a Costa Rican bank; I bring in the Ambassador of Mexico or the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic or the Consul General of Hungary; I bring in speakers who are decision-makers in their field across the diplomatic corps in Canada for Latin American business studies, Asia Pacific business studies, European Regional business studies."

"I bring to my class what I bring to my clients – energy, passion and opportunity.”

“There’s nothing cookie cutter about it. I want to genuinely introduce my students to more than our diverse world; I want to connect them with their passions.”
