We are pleased to welcome Dr. Simon Lolliot as part of the 2025 U of GH Psychology Conference.

Simon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia, and his research focuses on diversity, intergroup contact, belonging, and how these factors influence success at university. His work also explores the scholarship of teaching and learning, educational leadership, and social psychology topics like prejudice, attitude generalization, and reconciliation.

As part of his visit, Simon will be giving a talk that is open to everyone in the U of GH community.

Dr. Simon Lolliot is an Associate Professor of Teaching in the Department of Psychology at UBC. He was a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, where he completed his doctorate in social psychology, focusing on the role of intergroup contact in reconciliation. After Oxford, Simon joined UBC as a postdoctoral researcher and teaching instructor with Drs. Toni Schmader and Andrew Baron.
