Join leadership professional Brian Lass for this practical session (open all programs)

Join leadership professional Brian Lass for a practical and informative session on leadership and influence. Hosted by Justice Studies, open to students across all U of GH programs.
Monday, March 31 from 4:00 - 5:15 p.m.
Stepping into a new leadership role demands more than relying on past practices. This session explores the three critical imperatives (the Three "C''s") for a successful transition: Building "Connections" through intentional engagement with your team, peers, and stakeholders. Developing "Competence" by actively learning the business, acquiring new skills, and understanding the organizational landscape. Establishing "Credibility" by demonstrating commitment, integrity, and a genuine interest in the success of the organization and its people. Attendees will learn practical strategies for each "C," including effective communication, active listening, and building trust, empowering them to confidently navigate the challenges and opportunities of new leadership.
