On Thursday, November 21, 2024, the fourth-year Kinesiology students will be showcasing their final Knowledge Translation Projects as part of KIN*3060: Human Development and Aging. Students have developed a wide range of multi-media strategies to effectively communicate their scientific findings to a general audience - so faculty, staff and students from across the GH and Humber community are welcome!  There will be 36 projects on display.

Thursday, November 21, 2024

10:45 am - 1:25 pm

GH Atrium

Here is just a sampling of what our students have been working on:

  1. Can physical activity treat ADHD symptoms in youth?
  2. Does early sport specialization improve or hinder future elite sport performance?
  3. Do mom and dad have different influences on children's physical activity?
  4. Do brain games keep you young?
  5. Is creatine an important supplement for older adults?

All student groups will display their projects simultaneously in an open 'expo' style. Please feel free to come by at any point during the showcase to interact with our students, ask questions etc.  All are welcome, so bring a friend too!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Dr. Kerry Ritchie, KIN*3060 Course Instructor, and the 4th year KIN students
