Here's a list of commonly asked interview question and tips to help you answer them.

Q. Tell me about yourself.
Tip: Keep it professional – walk them through your resume.

Q. Why did you leave your last job?
Tip: Keep it positive, even if you left on a bad note. Never bad mouth your last employer.

Q. What do you know about this company, or why do you want this job?
Tip: Show that you are familiar with their organization and that you want to work for them. Make it clear that you are not just applying to anything and everything that is out there.

Q. What is your greatest strength?
Tip: Talk about a strength that relates to the job.

Q. What is your greatest weakness? 
Tip: Be sincere; talk about how you are going to work on fixing it.

Q. Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer or resolve a conflict.
Tip: Drescribe the situation, action you took and result. Make sure that each of these sections is clear.

Q. Why should I hire you?
Tip: Tell them your five greatest strengths that relate to the job.

Q. What are your salary expectations?
Tip: Do some research before you go to the interview to find out what the range is for your field. It is best not to discuss salary until you receive a job offer. Better to let the employer bring it up. If you are pressed for an answer, give a range.

Q. What is your greatest accomplishment?
Tip: Talk about something that would reflect qualities the employer would value.

Q. What are your short- and long-term goals and objectives?
Tip: Keep it career-related – they don't need to know about your travel plans!
