Student Support
Your UofGH Team
As a UofGH student, you'll have a huge team of people behind you ready to support your success. You'll get to know them and they'll get to know you.
An Academic Advisor is like your High School Guidance Counsellor and every program has one! Need help understanding your program plan or assistance with a course? Talk to your Advisor.
You can also rely on your Academic Advisor for developing an education plan, building vital learning skills, learning about opportunities and resources, and resolving academic issues.
As part of your program, you're going to complete placement hours to get hands-on experience in your field before you graduate.
Your Field Placement Coordinator supports you through your placement and ensures you meet your placement goals.
Need answers to your $$$ questions? Our Student Financial Services (SFS) experts are here for you!
They'll help you navigate the financial demands of university, find UofGH scholarships and awards to reward you in your studies, and keep you updated on important deadlines.
You can start thinking about, and working on, your career in year one of university!
Career Services Coordinators are here to assist you with defining your career goals, building your resume, and guiding you on your path towards success at UofGH and beyond.
Each program has a Program Head and Assistant Program Head who make decisions about what courses are taught, guide and oversee professors, and ensure you receive a top-level education.
They take part in Fall Information Day and Program Preview Day, and have made guest appearances on IG Lives. Get to know them by attending an upcoming event or checking out our social media!
