Once you complete the CliftonStrengths assessment, sign up for one of our workshops so we can show you how to unleash your strengths to get the most from your university experience and beyond. Each workshop is one hour in length and qualifies for an experience on your Co-Curricular Record (CCR).
Workshop Descriptions
Introduction to Strengths Workshop
This workshop introduces students to the CliftonStrengths program through reflection and activities. After participating in this workshop students will be able to define their top five strengths, describe how their strengths help them succeed as a student, and recall where to access resources.
Groups and Teams Workshop
This workshop introduces students to the four domains of CliftonStrengths and how they can be leveraged to work effectively in teams. After participating in this workshop students will be able to apply the four domains of talent themes to Tuckman’s stages of group development.
Leading with Strengths Workshop
This workshop introduces students to the four domains of CliftonStrengths and how they can utilized in leadership practices. After participating in this workshop students will be able to apply the four domains of talent themes to Kouzes’ and Posner’s Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership.
Strengths-Based Resiliency Workshop
This workshop introduces students to the concept of resilience in relation to their CliftonStrengths. After participating in this workshop students will be able to define resilience, recall Ellis’ ABC model of resilience, and apply their strengths to techniques for building resilience.
