Business
Eli Lewin taught business logistics and project management at the University of Guelph-Humber since 2006. Lewin has lived, studied and worked in Israel, South Africa and Canada. His main activities have been in operations management / supply chain management and business information systems as a line manager, project manager and in consulting. In 1999, Lewin landed in Canada to join a private company and in 2000 started teaching at various colleges across Toronto. Lewin joined Humber College in 2005 as a full-time faculty before beginning his teaching at UofGH the next year.

Early Childhood Studies
Marnie Loeb has been teaching at University of Guelph-Humber since 2019. She is an experienced speech-language pathologist, knowledgeable in both adult and paediatric communication and swallowing disorders. With special interests in applying evidence-based practice to help children with a wide range of abilities and challenges, Loeb is particularly skilled at helping new professionals bridge the research-to-practice gap. In addition to a sessional lecturer position at University of Guelph-Humber, Loeb owns and operates a private practice in Guelph, Ont. Outside of work hours, you will find Loeb playing ultimate frisbee, curling, and making music with her friends and family.

Media and Communication Studies
James MacDonald has been teaching in the Media Studies program at the University of Guelph-Humber since 2013. He has also taught for Sheridan College and Conestoga College. In addition to his work as an educator, MacDonald is the Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Ornge, where he is responsible for overseeing communications, community and government relations functions for Ontario’s provider of air ambulance and related services. Prior to joining Ornge, MacDonald spent more than a decade in television journalism working as an anchor, reporter, producer and editor for a number of Canadian television news outlets, including CBC, CTV, CP24 and CHCH Television, as well as a three year term as CNN International’s Hong Kong-based Features Producer for the Asia-Pacific region.
