Business
Charles Janthur joined the University of Guelph-Humber in 2005 and currently teaches in the Business program. Janthur’s teaching has been recognized various times, including being granted the Recognition of the Contribution of Teaching in 2012 from the University of Guelph. Janthur currently holds the title of vice-president, Money Market at DEPAG Deposit Agency of Canada Inc., a Toronto-based financial services company. Janthur was appointed to this position in 1996 and is actively involved in domestic and international markets. Simultaneously with his DEPAG duties, he acts as president of the Central Ontario Export Club, a networking group focusing on the international exchange of goods, services and technology. Janthur holds a bachelor of arts (BA) degree from York University, the designation Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) from FITT, the designation Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB) from the Institute of Canadian Bankers, and a master of business administration (MBA) degree from Queen’s University.
