University of Guelph-Humber

As Program Head of Media Studies at the University of Guelph-Humber, Kathy Ullyott plays a lead role in developing and overseeing curriculum for approximately 800 students in five areas of media specialization: journalism, visual communications, digital communications, public relations and media media business.

Prior to becoming program head of the media studies department at Guelph-Humber, Jerry Chomyn spent 22 years in the School of Media Studies & Information Technology at Humber College, eventually serving as director of broadcast media. He has written for the Toronto Star and delivered lectures at Columbia University in New York, MCI in Innsbruck, Austria and San Andres University in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
